We are looking forward to a great weekend planned here at Battle Lake Alliance Church. We are hosting a group of ministry students from CTI for our Sunday worship service and also for their own concert Sunday evening. You won't want to miss it!
This group is new to most people, so let me answer a few questions here. Please make every effort to be here and invite your friends to join you.
What will they be doing here?
During our worship service at 10 a.m. on Sunday morning, this group will be leading us in musical worship. There will still be a sermon from Pastor Derek, but they are taking care of the rest. They bring instruments and their own sound system. You will be blessed by their ministry, no matter what age you are. There will be a potluck meal following the service.
What about Sunday night?
Sunday night is a chance for us to host an event here that we can invite people to without taking them away from their church family Sunday morning. CTI will have a concert and share their love for Jesus with us. We have been putting the word out, but please help us spread the word. This will start at 6:30 p.m.
What else are they doing while they are here?
They arrive on Saturday night and leave early on Tuesday. They will be staying at two different cabins (one for the girls and one for the guys). We are providing meals for them, but they will be enjoying some down time also. They travel all around, so days off are very important for them.
What does this cost?
We helped them them with travel expenses to come. They will be receiving a free will offering for their ministry while they are here.
